ANSWER 4 =C
Unfortunately, the data revealed in the American Family Physician article “Health Literacy: The Gap Between Physicians and Patients” (http://www.aafp.org/afp/20050801/463.html) are difficult to guess. Many years ago it was taught that health materials for the general population were supposed to be written at a 6th grade level. Today, the recommendation is the 10th grade level. However, the article points out that an appreciable number of Americans are being “disenfranchised” from health education.
