ANSWER 13 =B

DISCUSSION:

The patient has signs of severe anemia and is presented in reference for definitive surgical treatment. The EKG is essentially normal except for minor ST changes likely secondary to the rate and the hypokalemia. The latter must be corrected prior to surgery because cardiac arrhythmias are common in the setting of hypokalemia. Blood loss seems to be gynecologic in etiology, therefore the GI tract does not have to be extensively studied now.
