The patient has important risk factors for atherosclerotic complications, diabetes mellitus and hypertension. The neurologic syndrome presented occurred over a short period of time making the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis unlikely. There is sign of fever of indication that patient uses intravenous drugs or has infected lesions in the skin. The location of the neurologic injury must be in the right hemisphere.
