CHRONICLE - CRÓNICA DEPORTIVA
The
VECTORS and ARISTEO EDGED
the KILLER ROOSTERS 20-19
In the fourth game of this Fall 07 series in
the Medical Circle Softball League, the LETHAL VECTORS defeated the
KILLER ROOSTERS in a tight game by one run. Their star pitcher, Aristeo
SEIGIDO who after 75 years has shown that courage does not get old,
shared THE VECTORS victory.
The game looked much better also in terms of
errors. While in the past the errors were often two digit figures, in
this game the ROOSTERS were charged with7 errors and the VECTORS with
only 3. Various observers have noted that the number of errors seems
proportional to the number of ectopics, i.e. strangers, that are picked
up from the field without any knowledge as how they play and who they
are. The ROOSTERS had two strangers for the 4th game and the
VECTORS only one.
Early in the game, the right fielder of the
ROOSTERS got injured with a pulled ligament in the vicinity of the left
anterior superior iliac spine. Ana Lucia was able to walk only with
difficulty and she was brought in to pitch for the ROOSTERS. She lost
her first game but gained a lot of experience and will face again the
VECTORS in the future.
The hitters continued to have a field day.
The best hitters are:
The pitcher with the
best record is ARISTEO SEIGIDO with 2 won and none lost. He has a very
impatient throw that baffles the ROOSTER batters who swing ahead of time
and either foul or hit easy pop flies or grounders. ARISTEO has proven
to be a fantastic asset to the VECTORS, said Dr A Gordon, of the
ROOSTERS
