THE OMLETTE HAS TURNED IN TROPICAL PARK:
KILLER ROOSTERS DEFEAT LETHAL VECTORS 17-5
On the Saturday of the long weekend for Columbus
holyday, the Medical Circle Community league presented its two Fall 07
teams for the second game of the series. Player manager Luis Castro
assumed the responsibility of pitching because his star pitcher Aristeo
Seigido had previous engagements and Edino Pérez, the veteran who had
promised to play had problems with his transportation.
The game appeared fairly even in the first inning
with the Lethal Vectors ahead 2-1. However, in the second inning the
Killer Roosters scored 10 runs when 10 players got on base before the
first out was made. There were a multitude of errors including those
made on assigning the position of the players to a particular defensive
area, mental errors not scored as such and fumbles and bad throws.
Paradoxically, the Lethal Vectors played the part that the Killer
Roosters had played the week before.
The players who were exchanged both did marvelously.
Amy Miteff played behind the plate for the Lethal Vectors defending the
position with valor. She got Anthony Castillo out at the plate. Nassar
Mufdi played third for the Killer Roosters and scored 3 runs for his new
team.
The Medical Circle numbers place the following
batters as leaders of the series:
The batting leaders in extra base hits are:
For the Lethal Vectors:
Castro L, De la Calle E, and Hernandez
Chris
For the Killer Roosters:
Rencurrell E, Velasco
R, and Mufdi N.
